Animal Habitat "Web Cast" with middle school students

Both first grades went to the old gym and found a

middleschool partner to help them do a Web Cast.

It showed different Animal habitats. They helped us

take notes on the habitat that we chose. We drew

pictures of animals and answered questions about their habitat.

Thanks to middle schoolers and their teachers for letting us

borrow them.

CSI Germ Investigaters

We looked for germs in Mrs. Tiefenthaler's office.

We learned how quickly they can grow. She used a black light

and special oil to see the germs light up.

Friends at Newell Good Sam Center

We visited our friends at the Good Sam Center in Newell today. We played shuffle board. The girls came out the winners in todays batttle. We will go back and visit in Dec. Then we get to frost cookies. mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Veterans Day

We sent a hello and thank you for your service note and picture to George Busby, our First grade adopted soldier. He is heading for Parwan in Afganistan. We will be e-mailing back and forth and will skype him if possible.
